Sun Tzu’Äôs The Art of War is the source for two drawings in the series, one in English and one in Google-translated German. The automated German translation tool summarized the same original text yet produced a radically different set of phrases, highlighting the futility of it’Äôs task. These sentences and sentence fragments are then composed in a 3D software package to create a barren spatial landscape wherein the type marches towards us and its companion artwork like an army of incongruous thoughts.¬Ý
